You can get to Buxton in a car or by public transport.
By car: Buxton is on the A6, southeast of Stockport and Manchester, and in the northern part of Derbyshire. There is pay-and-display parking at the Pavilion Gardens and in Buxton town centre.
Public transport: Buxton has frequent train services to Manchester provided by Northern Rail. You can find train times on the National Rail website. Buxton railway station is a five to ten minute walk to Pavilion Gardens, which is clearly signposted.
